Patience In Planning Yields Great Results

When it comes to planning a kitchen remodel, there are many considerations. Materials, layout, colors and appliance choices need to be balanced with space, function and budget needs for a finished product that meets all needs.

Lois Elliott, a designer in the Cabinet Discounters Springfield location, worked with a family from Burke, VA over an extended period of time to bring their dream for a new, open kitchen to fruition- within their budget!

With a goal of increasing both counter and storage space in their new kitchen, the Reddigs wanted to update a kitchen that was outdated, cramped and beginning to show wear and tear….

The main concern was to gain some counter space and some storage which both were accomplished. To do this some walls were removed and the refrigerator was moved to a new location. I am very pleased with the outcome.” Lois Elliott, designer

We are very pleased with the outcome! Everyone who has been in the house since raves about how great it looks. I am pleased to be able to have enough prep space to cook and some seating so folks can hang out in the kitchen when we entertain. The Reddigs, client
