Do you have a space in your home that you’re using as your “office,” but it’s not quite adequate? Maybe you’ve found yourself stacking books on the ground or using a makeshift desk to work from home. If you can relate to these problems, then investing in a dedicated home office may be a wise decision. A local family was looking for an office space in their new home after they had just moved in.
Using the recommendation of a builder who has worked with us in the past, the family was advised to work with the Columbia showroom of Cabinet Discounters. Once inside our store, they met with designer Steve Fair who was able to come up with a plan to work within their space, and was able to make their dreams a reality. In addition to Steve, the customers were also quite pleased with the installation of their project.
“Totally great experience. Steve Fair was beyond terrific in the design phase. He had all the patience and expertise needed to make good use out of every inch of space. Installation by Chip was also outstanding.”
The new space new offers the family with ample shelving and storage space. Whether for books, pictures, or any other items, the shelves offer a lot of new space. The drawers are plentiful and very deep and provide plenty of room for any items that need to be stowed away. We even were able to create a faux drawer front to mask a vent directly behind the desk to help keep the office an appropriate temperature.
“Finished product looks and functions precisely as hoped. It is one of the first things noticed by people who come to the house and universally gets applause.”
