Inviting Kitchen In New Construction

While the majority of our customers are those who are looking to replace their existing kitchen, we also occasionally work with home builders to create a kitchen from a blank slate in a new home.

Inviting Kitchen In New ConstructionFor this project, we worked with Rylea Homes to design a custom kitchen in a newly built house. Working out of our Columbia showroom, the builder works with designer Robert Polzin.

A brand new kitchen in new construction gives our designers the ability to work with the builder to come up with a truly custom space. The builder and designer can add their own flair to the project.

Inviting Kitchen In New ConstructionTogether, the builder and Robert selected Century Cabinetry with Avalon door style and Gray color for the perimeter. The island cabinetry is Brighton Cabinetry with Shaker door style and Parched finish on weathered grain Quartersawn White Oak.

The contrasting styles between the gray perimeter and the textured island cabinetry truly gives this kitchen a stylish look. The perimeter cabinetry has plenty of room for storage, has a specific area for the storage of wine bottles and glasses, and makes the new space look sleek and modern.

The island cabinetry gives the kitchen a gathering place for the family that will eventually move in and make the home their own. The color and wood species offer a unique look not seen in most other kitchens. All in all, everything combines together to give this kitchen an incredible appearance!
