Has your kitchen been leaving you little signs that it may be time to remodel? Maybe you’ve been seeing your cabinets start to fall apart, maybe your laminate countertop is chipping, or maybe your appliance are failing. If any of those things go wrong, it may be time to consider remodeling your kitchen. A local family was dealing with one of those problems, and they knew that it was time for a remodel.
“Our house was built in the 1980s and the kitchen had never been remodeled. Our appliances were dying and the universe seemed to be sending us a message.”
Using the recommendation of their architect, the family decided to visit the Cabinet Discounters showroom in Gaithersburg. Specifically, they were instructed to work with designer Tess Moran on their project.
“Our architect had worked with Tess before AND you had the ONLY cabinets that would work in our kitchen – we had looked!”
The customers sat down with Tess and were able to discuss their wants and needs in a new kitchen. Tess was able to come up with a plan and offer suggestions about what would be best in their new space.
“We did enjoy working with Tess and I absolutely trusted her to steer me in the right direction. She made a couple of design suggestions that we immediately adopted.”
In addition to working with Tess, the customers were also quite pleased with the promptness of delivery, and the quality of work done by the countertop installers at Creative In Counters.
“The deliverers were on time and the countertop installers did such a good job that even our contractor said he couldn’t even find the seams.”
Working along with Tess, the customer selected Brighton Cabinetry with Luna door style. The upper cabinets are Maple Lace, and the lower and bar area cabinets are Walnut Flagstone. The kitchen countertops are Cambria Inverness Frost quartz, and the bar area tops are Caesarstone Woodlands quartz.
“We are so pleased with our new kitchen. It is what I call my “short cook” kitchen. Few upper cabinets – mostly lower drawers including the microwave. The whole flow in the kitchen has changed with the addition of an extended island and relocation of the refrigerator. We have had a few people over to enjoy the kitchen with us. It hasn’t made me a better cook, I’m afraid, but it definitely keeps me in the kitchen working on it!”
With their new kitchen, the customers have found that everyday life has become much easier. Everything in their kitchen works and functions much better than before.
“It is simply easier to work in – there’s a place for everything and I don’t have to move things around to get to what I need. I have more working counter space and two or three people can easily work together in it. Which means I get some more help in the kitchen! We just appreciate all of the hard work and experience you brought to our project and everyone just lives the results!”
