This master bathroom remodel was completed through Cabinet Discounters’ Annapolis, MD showroom, with design work led by Kate Bjorke. The goal for the space was to create a layout that feels open and practical while keeping a consistent look across the room.
The vanity walls anchor the design. Brighton Cabinetry in a Shaker door style was selected in a Maple Cider finish, bringing in a warm tone that contrasts well with the lighter colors surrounding it. The cabinet layout includes a mix of drawers and doors for better organization, along with a tall storage cabinet that adds vertical storage without crowding the room.
The countertops are Calacatta Miraggio Duo quartz, which provides a clean surface with subtle movement. The integrated sink and simple edge profile keep the look straightforward and easy to maintain. A herringbone tile backsplash adds some texture behind the vanity without becoming the main focus. Matte black fixtures and hardware were used throughout, giving the space a consistent finish that ties into the mirror and plumbing fixtures.
Across from the vanities, a freestanding tub sits in front of a large window, helping bring in natural light. The placement keeps the floor area open and allows for clear movement through the space. Adjacent to that, the walk-in shower features large wall tile and a glass enclosure, keeping the room visually open while separating the shower area.
Overall, this project balances storage, layout, and material choices to create a bathroom that works well for daily use without adding unnecessary detail. The combination of warm cabinetry, neutral surfaces, and simple finishes keeps the design consistent from one side of the room to the other.
