Have you run out of patience with your kitchen? Are you finding that everyday tasks are being made more difficult simply because your kitchen is either falling apart or is not functional for your family? If you’ve reached this point with your kitchen, it can make your life much harder. But, you are not alone! A dysfunctional kitchen is just one of many aspects that can lead you down the path to a new kitchen. That’s where a local family found themselves, and they knew it was time to make a change.
“We decided to remodel because our 1999 kitchen needed some serious updating and upgrading. The cabinets and island were not set up for either entertaining or storage. We were ready for a new deep task sink, induction cooktop, natural wood cabinetry and functional storage.”
“We turned to Cabinet Discounters because we had a great prior experience (during a major kitchen remodel in a different home in 2005). We really didn’t look seriously anywhere else because our other remodel had been so remarkable and the well-made cabinets had so many features.”
Once inside our showroom, the family met with designer Mary Carrette. Mary was able to listen to the needs of the customers and offer ideas and suggestions that would work best within their space. In the end, Mary came up with a design that delighted her customers.
“We were fortunate to be paired with Mary Carrette in Annapolis. She helped us maximize space and worked around some challenging appliance issues with finesse. Her guidance on selecting everything from cabinet features, drawer pulls and countertops let us reach our goal of a perfectly functional and gorgeous kitchen.”
Even when an unexpected issue with a drawer arose, Mary and our team, including Ward Street, jumped into action immediately to resolve the problem.
“Mary and Ward Street were critical in making that seamless for us. They were both there the VERY same day that we discovered the issue. No drama. Just absolute professionalism. They came up with a few options for us and then went straight to work to make it right.”
Working along with Mary, the family selected Brighton Cabinetry with Shaker door style and Quartersawn White Oak Natural finish. The countertops and full-height backsplash are done in Borgini Aurora quartz.
“It would be impossible to be happier with our new kitchen. We are cooking and entertaining with more ease now that everything is within easy reach and the storage make sense.”
