Through their contractor, the family visited the Cabinet Discounters showroom in Chantilly. Once inside, they met with designer Ramsey Haddad. Ramsey was able to listen to the needs of the family, while also offer ideas and suggestions of his own to create the ideal space.
Working along with Ramsey, the family selected Brighton Cabinetry for their kitchen. The perimeter cabinetry have Wide Rail Shaker doors and Maple Iceberg color. The island and pantry cabinet feature Madrid doors and Walnut Gunpowder finish.
The new kitchen features two islands, making prep space and countertop space much more plentiful. The perimeter cabinetry gives the family a huge amount of storage, and backlighting in the cabinets adds an attractive touch. The large, wood hood is a true new focal point for the entire room. The pantry cabinet off to the side, which also houses the refrigerator, featured pocket doors which slide back into the cabinet when opened.
In addition to the new look of the kitchen, everything flows wonderfully. The kitchen is open, and there is lots and lots of room to move about freely. Dozens of people would be able to congregate in the space and the kitchen would not feel congested. Everything in this space, from the flow, to the functionality, to the look, all combine together to give this family a gorgeous new kitchen!
