This kitchen remodel, completed by Cabinet Discounters, reflects a functional and modernized layout tailored to the needs of the homeowner. Designed by Mary Carrette out of our Annapolis, MD showroom, the project focused on improving flow, organization, and overall usability.
Brighton Cabinetry was selected for the kitchen, using the Amesbury door style. The perimeter cabinets are done in Maple Lace, which helps maintain a light and clean appearance around the edges of the room. In contrast, the island cabinetry features Maple Cadet, bringing in a cooler tone that provides subtle contrast and centers the space visually. The island includes ample drawer storage, a built-in bookshelf for cookbooks, and seating for casual dining or gathering.
The countertops and full-height backsplash are Emerstone Aurora quartz. These surfaces provide durability while keeping the overall look consistent throughout the room. The full-height backsplash runs up the walls behind the sink and the range, offering easy maintenance and a seamless transition from counter to wall.
This kitchen also includes a small beverage and prep area with a wood top and undercounter fridge. This additional workspace increases functionality without taking up much room. The result is a clean, highly usable kitchen that maximizes the available space while maintaining a cohesive design throughout.
