Using the suggestion of a neighbor, the family visited the Cabinet Discounters showroom in Gaithersburg, MD in order to embark on their bathroom remodel. Specifically, they were advised to meet with designer Tess Moran.

“Her guidance on what to do and how to do it was excellent throughout. I especially appreciated her working with me on making the bathroom, especially the shower, as handicap friendly as possible to maximize ease of use for someone who will probably wind up in a wheelchair.”
In addition to working with Tess, the family was also happy with everyone else involved with their project.

A particular shout-out goes to their tile layer Benito Perez who did beautiful, immaculate work. And to the CDI scheduler, George Silva, who was also easy to work with and kept everything really well organized.”
Working along with Tess, the family selected Brighton Cabinetry with Fairfield door style in Maple Barley for their vanity. They wanted to make sure that their cabinets matched the frames of the mirrors, so Brighton custom made those frames as well. The countertops are Viatera Clarino quartz.
“The Brighton cabinets are beautiful and they customized the size of the frames on the matching set of mirrors which set the new room off beautifully.
In the end, the family now has everything they could have wanted in a new bathroom. It’s beautiful, functional, and accessible. And whenever a small issue arose, Tess was quick to jump into action and correct the problem.
“The project was projected to take 4 weeks (exclusive of the shower door manufacture/install) and needed about 4 and a half, largely due to re-templating the shower curb after I realized it was higher than Tess and I had agreed on. Tess managed these and any other small glitches with grace and persistence. She made sure the bathroom was the way I wanted it when it was finished. I recommend her and CDI very highly.”
