“Rick was very easy to work with, had good ideas, and presented different versions of the contract as we thought through our plans. The contract was very detailed and provided to us before we made the final decision. Cabinet Discounters had their own installation contractors, so we only had to find our own painters. They gave us the best price for the quality we wanted. He also was very responsive to changes, concerns, questions, schedules, etc.”

Working along with Rick, the family selected Brighton Cabinetry with Monroe Raised door style. The perimeter cabinets are Maple Hingham and the island cabinetry is Maple Silhouette. The countertops are Cambria Beaumont quartz.
“We are beyond thrilled. There are a few tweaks that are still to come, but almost everything is working perfectly. The kitchen is much more functional, easy to work in, older person user-friendly, not to mention gorgeous.”
With their new space, the family has found that everyday cooking has become easier, but so has the ability to host guests in their home.
“We have been doing our usual daily cooking, baking, and have entertained large and small groups. Everyone has admired the new features and particularly like the countertops and backsplash.”
This new kitchen now offers the family with ample functional storage space. Appliances and other kitchen items are able to be housed in sensible locations throughout the kitchen, and the increased countertop space makes things much less difficult than before.
“It is far easier to get heavy things out of the cabinets now because of the drawers; there is tons more storage space, and as a result, I can more easily get to kitchen items that had to be stored elsewhere before; there is more counter space, which has been great when I lay out everything needed for baking; the farmhouse sink is enabling me to put large baking sheets and roasting pans flat for washing, and the drainboard sits over it, so I don’t have to put it on the countertop; the lighting is better and gives more options; we now have an exhaust system, which was nonexistent before.”
All in all, the family is very happy with how everything turned out. Compared to other remodeling nightmare stories they had heard, their experience with Cabinet Discounters went very smoothly.
