“We had made significant improvements to our living room, dining room, foyer and stairway to the 2nd floor. The bookcases were heavy and ugly stand-alone items that we had had for about 35 years. The desk was an antique oak roll top that we had owned since about 1980. Its lack of appeal was only accentuated by the changes elsewhere on the first floor.”

“I saw a print advertisement for Cabinet Discounters that illustrated built in cabinets in a living room (I think). The idea of built in cabinets in our den/sitting room intrigued me and so we pursued it with help from the woman who had helped create our redesigned living room.”

The new space now has plenty of shelf space for books, records, pictures, and anything else they need. The new desk space is a much needed relief from the desk that previously occupied the space. All of the aspects combine together to give the room an attractive, new look.
