Have you hit the point with your current kitchen where it just no longer works for your family? Is it too small, not functional, or simply outdated? That’s where a local family found themselves with their old kitchen.
“We decided to remodel because our kitchen was the original 1978 kitchen. We needed a better layout for our family and a better cooking space for me, because I love to cook!” – customer
Having heard about Cabinet Discounters from a friend, the family visited our Annapolis showroom. There they met with designer Meg O’Neill and got started working on their project.
“I had heard about Cabinet Discounters from a friend and set up an appointment with Meg. I didn’t hire a designer because I knew I would want to do the creative part of that process…but I needed someone who could help me with the functionality of the design.” – customer
The family was very pleased with the experience they had working with Meg.
“I was really impressed with Meg’s experience and knowledge. I also liked that she was very direct with me about what I would like and what I would dislike about a particular layout and design. We went through several iterations and I’m thrilled with what we came up with.” – customer
Working with Meg, the customer selected HomeCrest Cabinetry with Sedona Maple doors and a French Vanilla Opaque color.
“Retrofitting a new kitchen in an existing space is always a challenge but I feel like we really came up with the best possible design for my space. Now the kids eat at the island while I cook, I do my paperwork there and it feels like a much better space for the way we live. Plus, I think it looks beautiful. I would also add here that there was a side panel and a door that came with blemishes and when I called Cabinet Discounters to replace them, they did it immediately, no questions asked. They even sent one of their installers out to help me with a spice cabinet door that was drifting open, even though I didn’t use their installation team. In the end I couldn’t be more pleased with our space and our experience with Cabinet Discounters.” – customer
