After purchasing a new home, the Chesney family turned once again to the professionals at Cabinet Discounters to update and remodel their kitchen and laundry room area to accommodate both their decorating style and functional needs as a family.
Working with Bill Putiri of the Mount Airy Cabinet Discounters showroom, the Chesney’s designed an elegant, classic and thoroughly functional kitchen that will stand up to the test of time.
Using a variety of textures set against whitewashed cabinetry, the space is able to appear light and airy and feel warm and welcoming at the same time. A neutral color palette allows decorative touches to change with the styles and the seasons- without having to remodel again!
“With the help of Bill Putiri, we envisioned how the kitchen could better fit our family (more stools at the island, moving the cooktop from the island to the wall, and switching to a gas Wolf range), and the project took on a life of its own, spilling over into the adjoining dry butler’s pantry off the kitchen, wet bar in the dining room, as well as, moving a desk nook location from the kitchen to the garage entry space (previously the laundry room).
Bill is fantastic. He is extremely detail oriented and willing to turn over every stone with you if that’s what you need to do to be confident in your decisions. He was able to pull out the common factors of several “dream kitchen” pictures I showed him, basically combining them to become my own personal dream kitchen.” The Chesneys

“Working with the Chesney’s was terrific. I worked with Courtney to figure out the design and style that fit their needs and taste best. Courtney has great taste and was very good at conveying what she wanted so that every detail was considered in the design. All of the cabinetry was inset painted maple by Brighton. The tops were all LG Minuet except for the Bar top which was re-used from the existing layout.” Bill Putiri
