“We decided to remodel our kitchen because we had issues with cabinets continuing to fall off the hinges. After many attempts at repairs we decided it was time to get new cabinets. In addition, the kitchen was not user friendly. The drawers did not roll out so I had to get on the floor and reach in the back of the cabinets to get pans, dishes etc. as we are aging, we decided to remodel so we could really have years to fully enjoy the new kitchen. I cook and bake a lot, so having a user friendly kitchen is both important and exciting for me.”
After having previously worked with Cabinet Discounters on a smaller bathroom vanity, the family decided to return to our Mt. Airy, MD location when it was time for their kitchen remodel.
“We purchased a bathroom vanity and countertop with Cabinet Discounters the previous year and were very pleased with the service, price and installment of the vanity. We decided to use them again for our kitchen/laundry room remodel.”
Once back inside our showroom, the customers met with designer Wendy Ames. Wendy listened to their wants and needs and came up with a plan that worked perfectly for their space and their budget.
“Wendy Ames is absolutely wonderful to work with. She is a true professional who had wonderful ideas and got me to expand my thinking on the possible layout of the cabinets. The kitchen layout is one that cannot be changed greatly so we decided to put a pantry and additional cabinets in the laundry room to increase storage space.”
In addition to working with Wendy, the family was very pleased with everyone else who had a hand in their project. From the delivery of cabinets, to the installation of countertops, everything went smoothly, and the family knew exactly what work was to be completed each day.
“I was extremely pleased with the workman who installed the countertop and cabinets. We had a full schedule of each day the workman would be there and what specifically they would be doing each day.”
Working along with Wendy, the family selected Brighton Cabinetry with Bryant door style in Maple Custom. The countertops are Mona Lisa leathered granite. This entire job was installed by Cabinet Discounters.
