Two-Toned Kitchen Cabinets With Attention To Detail

When looking for an improved kitchen space for cooking and entertaining, the Pesce family of Herndon stopped in the Cabinet Discounters Chantilly showroom.

We also liked the design element offered which was essential to the accuracy of the order. Our home is almost 20 years old so we definitely needed an update. Our laminate cabinets and counter tops were very worn. We wanted to improve and enjoy it before we have to sell in the future.” – Mrs. Pesce

The Pesces worked with designer Mary Banas to achieve the exact space they wanted and add specific details to the kitchen.

“We were very pleased with Mary, her hard work and creativity. She helped advocate for our concerns and therefore, we felt comfortable sending her referrals.” – Mrs. Pesce

They also wanted an impressive focal point for the room, and were able to achieve that with their cabinet selections. The Pesces chose Brighton Cabinetry with a Maple Dover finish for the perimeter cabinets, while the island and other accent pieces, including the impressive range hood, have a Cherry Hazelnut finish with Ebony glaze. Both sets of cabinets feature a Neoga Ridge Raised door style. The cabinets are complemented by a slick Minotauro granite countertop.

“Of course we hope to entertain more but one key goal was to have the larger island without a cook top on it so people could gather in the heart of the kitchen. We also wanted to change the focal point and loved the arched cabinet over the stove. The showroom model had this design and it had a big impression on me.” – Mrs. Pesce

“We are very happy with the outcome and quality of the cabinets and the design element.” – Mrs. Pesce
