A local family had previously used Cabinet Discounters about 15 years ago to add new cabinetry into their kitchen. And when they wanted to add even more, they knew exactly where to turn. They re-visited our Gaithersburg showroom, and once inside they met with designer Steve Mathes.
Steve was able to locate their previous order and match the cabinetry exactly to the same color and style. The color they had previously selected was no longer offered by the manufacturer, but they were able to work together to create the same color, as well as add cabinetry in a new color.
Working along with Steve, the customers used Brighton Cabinetry for their kitchen with Saxony door style. The white cabinets are Maple Lace and the cabinets on the opposite wall are cherry with a custom stain and glaze. The countertops are LG Viatera Minuet quartz.
The new space now gives the family a large countertop space for food preparation and gathering. The large wall of cabinets from floor to ceiling provides ample storage as well as room for a pantry. Also included are creative cabinetry ideas for housing the microwave and a shelf for cookbooks. The entire space is now much more functional and works better than ever!
