One of the most important things in your home is making sure that your spaces are functional for your needs. If you have a room that has wasted space, or just simply isn’t being utilized to its fullest potential, then that can be frustrating. Add on top of that a severely outdated look, and you reach a point where you have to do something differently. A local family had reached that point, and knew they had to make a change.
“We decided to remodel because our home is over twenty five years old and is starting to show its age. Our master bath, especially, was outdated, cramped, and not very functional. The number one design objective was to provide a sit down makeup area for my wife.” – customer
After looking around at several other remodeling companies and not being pleased with the results, the customers used the recommendation of a neighbor to visit our Cabinet DiscountersAnnapolis showroom. They were referred to work with designer Joe Inscoe, and were very happy with the results.
“After two unsuccessful attempts to employ two different general subcontractors we consulted our neighbor who had recently remodeled both their master bath and kitchen. Their results were stunning and they recommended CD and told us to specifically request Joe. They were right on both counts. Joe was amazing to work with and knew all the questions to answer even before we knew what to ask. We had a general idea of what we were after and had a crude drawing and a photo to work from. We incorporated all of Joe’s suggestions and recommendations. He knows his business well, both as a design consultant as well as the contracting aspect.” – customer
The customers had to remove some things from their old space in order to get the space for which they had truly been hoping.
“We removed a corner jacuzzi tub as well as a linen closet allowing for enough space to enlarge the shower and install a soaking tub. We replaced the French doors with a single door that provided the necessary wall space to install and designated makeup vanity area.” – customer
Working with Joe, the customers selected Brighton Cabinetry with Monroe Raised doors and Maple Hingham color for the vanity. The two-level vanity also includes Twin Arch Roanoke quartz countertops. The floor tile is Conestoga Italgraniti Sun 6″x36″ porcelain. The shower tile is Mediterranea Marmol Venatino and the accent piece is Florim Glitz Stix mosaic tile.
“As for the final result, we could not be more pleased. It’s the most beautiful room in the house. We can’t wait to remodel our guest bathroom and our kitchen and would not consider using anyone other than Joe and Cabinet Discounters.” – customer
