Have you hit that point with your kitchen that you just can’t handle it anymore? Now that we’re all stuck inside, you may be noticing the flaws of your kitchen, or you may be accepting the fact that it’s time to do something about it. A local family found themselves in that exact same spot, and knew that they had to make a change.
“We decided to remodel our kitchen as ours was 30 years old and out of date. We waited to do it as we could not decide how to re-do it. We knew we wanted something more modern but did not want to go from place to place looking at things.”
Using the recommendation of a friend who had previously worked with Cabinet Discounters, the family visited our Olney showroom. Once inside, they met with designer Doreen Bliss.
“My friend recommended Doreen Bliss at Cabinet Discounters. Doreen helped her re-do her kitchen and gave her helpful advice, and she said Doreen would do the same for us. She was correct.”
The family was extremely happy about their experience with Doreen. They were impressed with her knowledge and her ability to suggest ideas for their space.
“We met with Doreen, outlined what we wanted in general, and Doreen helped us narrow it down. She also suggested a small cabinet and shelf in an unused corner of the kitchen to put our small TV and Antenna on to get it off of our counter. It also gives us a little more storage space inside. The process for the work was also made easy-Doreen had all the paper work ready to sign and explained everything.”
They were also very pleased with the service they received from all of our installation department as well.
“Cabinet Discounters then sent us a day by day schedule of who would be here and when, which was very helpful. The installation department kept in touch with a website as well and worked out the few minor problems we had. The delivery people and installers who came were all very professional and neat in their work.”
Working along with Doreen, the family selected Homecrest Cabinetry for their kitchen with Brenner Maple doors and Alpine Opaque color. The countertops are Aria quartz from Viatera. The backsplash is Florida Tile Streamline Dorian Gray 4″x16″ glazed ceramic tile.
“We are very happy with our new kitchen and have been cooking in it and eating in it. We have had a few people over and they all have remarked about how nice the kitchen is.”
