New Kitchen In An Old Row House

Having an older kitchen can be quite the hassle. Either your cabinets or countertops aren’t able to hold up through all the wear and tear, or the space is no longer functional. That’s where a local family found themselves living in an older row house in the center of Annapolis.

Using the recommendation of someone they had previously worked with on another project, the family visited the Cabinet Discounters Annapolis showroom and met with designer Meg O’Neill. They were very happy with the experience and even when a problem with the project arose, things were corrected to their satisfaction.

Meg was able to incorporate modern convenience with our exposed brick walls and vintage wood open shelving.” – customer

Working with Meg, the family selected Brighton Cabinetry for the project with Hillsbrad doors and Maple Iceberg paint. The countertops are Caesarstone Cosmopolitan White quartz. The new space is able to remain open and allow access to the screened-in porch on the backside of the house. The kitchen also incorporates some exposed brick to show the historical roots of the house.
