A “New and Fresh” Look For An Older Kitchen

If you can’t stand the older kitchen in which you’re living, then you’re not alone. Either your cabinets are old and worn out, or you have some issues with the layout of your kitchen, but regardless of the problem, you know it’s time for something new. That’s where a local family found themselves with their old kitchen, and they needed a change.

“We have lived in our home for 40 years and done partial remodels twice before. It was time to gut the cabinets and eliminate some access issues.” – customer

After having several bathrooms previously updated, and also hearing suggestions from friends, the customers returned to the Cabinet Discounters Annapolis showroom for their kitchen project.

“Prior experience when updating some bathrooms, plus lots of recommendations from neighbors.” – customer

Upon visiting the showroom, they worked with designer Meg O’Neill.

Working with Meg, they selected Brighton Cabinetry for their kitchen with Thompson door style. The light cabinets have a Maple Oatmeal finish, while the darker cabinets are Cherry Peppercorn color. The countertops are LG Viatera Aria quartz, and the backsplash is Conestoga Tile Questech Jolly Liner.

The new cabinets make the kitchen look much more modern, and they also allow a large new space for storage. There is also a large countertop space to avoid clutter and provide plenty of space for cooking.

“We didn’t do anything revolutionary, and didn’t change the appliances. But the kitchen looks new and fresh.” – customer
