“The kitchen cabinet (boxes) were original to the house (1968). The doors and drawers had been refaced, albeit very poorly, 20-30 years ago. The cabinets were becoming a safety hazard! After seeing our TV commercials, the customers decided to make an appointment at our Olney showroom. Once inside, they met with designer Doreen Bliss, and discovered they had some things in common.
“I had heard the commercials on TV and seen the store in Olney on numerous occasions. So, we just made an appointment. What I found out after the fact is that Doreen Bliss and her husband bought my sister’s home in Olney Mill 20+ years ago. They still live in the house. Then I found out that Doreen redesigned the kitchen of the farm house my sister and her husband bought in Goshen……This was work that was done before they bought the farm house. Working along with Doreen, the customers selected Brighton Cabinetry for their kitchen with Hillsbrad doors and Maple Cider finish. The countertops are Caesarstone Taj Royal quartz. The backsplash tile is Jeffrey Court Chapter 9 Pietra Opus Natural Stone Rustic Quartzite Matterhorn mosaic tile.
“We are VERY happy with the outcome. The cabinets, the countertops, the backsplash, the floor…everything is beautiful and very good quality. We have SO MUCH storage space…between the lazy susans, the pantry cabinet, the roll out drawers, the HUGE drawers under the banquette seating. For the first time in 14 years, the kitchen is organized. There is a place for everything. Our neighbors were blown away when they saw the remodel. We love that the kitchen is now open to the family room. We love the banquette seating.” – customer

“We’ve been entertaining much more! We had a progressive “reveal” dinner party with two other neighbors who also had recent renovations (screened in porch and kitchen).
