Multiple-Room Remodel Leaves Your Home Feeling Brand New!
The Eisen family from Olney, MD had aging cabinets and counter tops all across their home. When they visited the Cabinet Discounters showroom in Olney, they met with designer Dave Humerick who helped them update their home.
“I chose Cabinet Discounters because (a) it was highly rated on Angie’s List; (b) it is a fairly good-sized company — I wasn’t interested in using a general contractor that’s a one-man-show or very small operation; (c) the showroom is near my house and has plenty to see and choose from; and (d) I had a great experience working with my salesman, Dave Humerick, and the prices were right.” – Mrs. Eisen
Aside from just the kitchen, the Eisen family needed an update in both the upstairs hall bathroom and the master bathroom vanities. They found that time had taken its toll on many aspects of their kitchen and bathrooms and needed to make a change.
“My decision to remodel was made because my existing cabinets, etc. were 30 years old — everything was in need of updating. My experience with Dave Humerick was excellent. He was helpful, attentive and responsive.” – Mrs. Eisen
Remodeling all three areas at once can be difficult, but the end result proved to be worth it.
“It was a little challenging given the fact that we were doing three separate projects here. The kitchen, the master bath and the upstairs hall bath all at the same time. Everything seemed to go smoothly and the outcome was terrific. After everything was completed it was as if she had a brand new house.” – Dave Humerick
The Eisens selected kitchen cabinets from Brighton Cabinetry with a Cumberland door style and Cashmere painted finish. They are adorned with oil-rubbed bronze pulls. The light, creamy-colored cabinets are paired with a darker Cambria quartz counter top in the color Canterbury which complements the backsplash which is Florida Tile Traverinte 3″x6″ brick pattern.
The hall bath and master bath vanities both feature HomeCrest Cabinets the rich Sorrel finish and doors in the Dover style. The hall bathroom counter has a beautiful color and is LG Viatera Symphony. The master vanity has a light LG Viatera Minuet quartz counter top, which contrasts the darker cabinets.
While it can be stressful to undergo a remodeling job of this proportion, the Eisen family loves the look and feel of their practically new home.
“In the end, everything was resolved to my full satisfaction. I am very happy with the outcome.” – Mrs. Eisen
