Do you find yourself wishing you had more space in your kitchen? The kitchen truly is the heart of your home, and when you run out of space to comfortably gather with family or have room for storage, then things can get frustrating. Among other issues, a local family was having a similar experience, and they knew that something had to be done to remedy situation.
After looking through several other companies, the family decided to work with Cabinet Discounters. They saw one of our videos on how to begin your project, and were put at ease by knowing what to expect from their project.
“I interviewed and researched several contractors and companies. When I reviewed the Cabinet Discounters video, I was relieved. Before I even called them, I knew what to expect and was able to provide dimensions and the overall design look. Then, when I called Cabinet Discounters, I knew it would work.”
The family contacted our Annapolis showroom, which was closest to their home. Once in touch with our store, they met with designer Victoria Jordan. They felt that Victoria was incredibly helpful and easy to work with throughout the entire process.
“Victoria walked me through every aspect of this remodel. We talked constantly in person and on the phone about design ideas. She was so helpful in educating me on the cabinets, countertops, appliances, lighting and the demolition and construction. Victoria provided recommendations on the installation of the cabinets and it worked out great.”
Despite a few small issues along the way that were easily corrected, and that will arise in any remodeling project, the family was also very happy with the work done on their project by everyone else involved.
“The delivery of the cabinets was a little delayed due to the pandemic, as expected. The installation of the countertops was also excellent. One countertop was a little damaged during install and they replaced it the next day. With Cabinet Discounters, I had to make arrangements for certain contractors to install/repair. However, Victoria worked with me on this process 100%. If you have some knowledge and time, this way really saves money. Because of Cabinet Discounters’ process, we were able to afford a luxurious remodel on a very affordable budget.”
Working along with Victoria, the family selected Homecrest Cabinetry with Dover Maple door style. The perimeter cabinetry is in the Alpine Opaque color and the island cabinetry is done in Anchor. The countertops are LX Viatera Minuet mitered edge quartz in 6cm thickness.
“I am extremely satisfied with the remodel. I am so happy with Victoria and Cabinet Discounters.”
Their new kitchen has made things so much easier in day-to-day life. Cooking, gathering, and just spending time in the kitchen are much more doable now.
“We cook so much more now. We have more room and places to sit. We are using the space more efficiently now. I love all of the storage and the pantry space. It’s made life so much easier for us. We can all find things that we need. We don’t have to store things in the garage or in the basement. We also love the new island where we can ALL sit together now.”
In the end, the family could not be happier with how everything turned out in their beautiful new kitchen.
“I can’t say enough great things about working with Victoria. She is beyond helpful and professional. She is a rare gem in this industry and is the #1 reason why I chose Cabinet Discounters. Her years of knowledge in design and construction and her willingness to listen and help is extraordinary. I am so thankful that she walked me through this process from start to finish. I am so grateful for her helping me remodel our home and change our lives.”
