“There were several reasons for me remodeling. The biggest was the my original kitchen was wasteful in terms of how the space was used resulting in very limited counter space and cabinet space. Two of the walls had no cabinets or counter space. The cabinets that were there did not go all the way up to the ceiling (there were soffits). Secondly, I wanted to open up space between the kitchen and the adjoining family room. Another more minor reason was that I wanted a fresher look and I wanted cabinet features such as slide-outs, soft close hinges, etc.”

Working along with Tessa, the customer selected Brighton Cabinetry with Cascade door style and Maple Slate finish. The countertops are Cambria Charston quartz.
“I love the results! I’m really glad with the choices I made. It was a long, sometimes arduous process, but totally worth it! Obviously, I’ve been cooking and I have done some entertaining. People and friends are amazed by the difference and love the results too.”

“I had a lot of design help from my very good friend. There are lots of decisions beyond the cabinets and countertops, of course . She was very helpful with the design process, the myriad of options, helping me understand how design decisions relate to one other, and helping me evolve the final design.”
