Looking to do exactly that, a local family visited our Cabinet Discounters Olney showroom and was ready to make a change. Once inside our store, they met with designer Doreen Bliss and were able to come up with a specific plan that fit their needs, their space, and their budget.
Working along with Doreen, the family was able to get every aspect of their project through Cabinet Discounters. They selected Brighton Cabinetry with Shaker Medium doors. The one run of cabinetry has Maple Lace paint, and the other run has a custom blue color on maple wood. The countertops are Calico White from Q Quartz. The wood top in the nook area is Grothouse Solid Wood Flat Grain Cherry with Sapwood. The backsplash tile is Baltimore 12″x 12″ mixed linear mosaic stone and glass blend from PaMarVa. The floor tile is Sequence Vortex 12″ x 24″ glazed porcelain from Florida Tile. We provided all installation on this project as well.
This brand new open space really gives the home the open concept look of which the family had been dreaming. The blue and white cabinetry provides a very attractive feature and gives the kitchen a bit more color. The additional cabinetry off the side of the kitchen allows the family to have a large amount of storage space, and the beautiful cherry wood top provides a warm, rich wood color. All the aspects of this kitchen combine to create a beautiful new space!
