We’ve all been sitting at home more recently, and doing so can magnify the issues within your home. And since most of us are spending more time in our kitchens, those glaring deficiencies are being noticed more and more. A local family noticed exactly that in their home. Their kitchen was too small, dark, and dated, and they were looking to do something about it.
“We decided to remodel because the house is from the 1890’s and the kitchen was quite small and dark with the refrigerator outside on a porch. We pushed the outside wall back to include that porch (and the refrigerator) and featured a large window to bring light into the house.”
Using the recommendation of both their contractor and a friend, the family visited the Cabinet Discounters showroom in Annapolis. They were specifically advised to work with designer Meg O’Neill.
“We were recommended to Cabinet Discounters by a contractor who had worked with you before. And had friends who had worked with Meg on their kitchen and were very happy.”
The customers were extremely happy working with Meg. They were impressed with her promptness, her suggestions, and her ability to work within their budget and still get them exactly what they needed.
“Of all the people we talked to about our project Meg was the most timely about getting the project started and she got what we were going for instantly! She worked with our budget and saved us money whenever, even suggesting we wait in installing an island to see how a farm table might work in the room. We love our farm table and eat around it for almost every meal.”
Working along with Meg, the customers selected Century Cabinetry for their kitchen with Clearbrook door style and Willow color. The countertops are LG Viatera Soprano quartz.
“People love our kitchen. It is definitely the heart of the house. We had our baby’s baptism party shorty after the project was completed and found it’s easy to have people gathering there even as you cook or make drinks. Meg was integral in working with our contractor to find how we could get that flow and inclusiveness.”
