Restoring old homes can be much more than just work – it can be a hobby. A local customer who enjoys making old houses look new undertook a daunting task with this 1860’s-era home. The results are stunning! Make sure you check out the before & after pictures at the bottom of this post.
“It is what I do. I restore old homes into new. I just ended up liking this one so much that we moved into it.” – customer
Having worked on many projects with Cabinet Discounters in the past, the customer knew just where to look for this remodel. He returned to our Olney showroom and worked along with designer Dave Humerick.
“I chose Cabinet Discounters because of Dave. I have worked with Dave through many remodels. We work well together. Always happy with the outcome.” – customer
Working along with Dave on this project, the customer selected Brighton Cabinetry with Neoga Ridge Raised doors and Maple wood. The perimeter cabinets have a custom paint and the island cabinets are Silhouette color. The countertops from Creative In Counters are Twin Arch Roanoke quartz.
“Very happy with the outcome. The kitchen is where everyone hangs out.”
Prior to this project, the house was severely neglected and run down. The customer completely revitalized this home with a thorough remodel and this beautiful new kitchen. This space is large enough in which to entertain, has great flow, and ample storage.
