Have you been house shopping and found a new home in the right spot, but the interior is in dire need of updating? That’s what a local customer in Annapolis found in an older home not far from the town’s historic downtown area.
“I viewed the home last October 2015 when it went on the market. I immediately loved the bones of the house and knew it would be perfect if I could renovate the kitchen and master bath. Bathroom was a closet and the kitchen was crammed and small with Ikea cabinets.” – customer
Acting on the suggestion of her general contractor, Bill Gargiulo of Annapolis Home Services LLC, the customer stopped by the Cabinet Discounters Annapolis showroom.
“I had a vision and contacted a contractor I had worked with before and verified he could do the work. It is my contractor who recommended Cabinet Discounters. I was reticent at first as my last kitchen was designed by Stuart Kitchens.” – customer
After entering the store, the customer met with designer Meg O’Neill.
“I did meet with Meg and was immediately impressed with her easy going nature and product suggestions. I showed her photos of kitchens I liked and she was able to quickly recommend a cabinet style. Many of the design features in my kitchen and bath are custom. The shop worked closely with us supplying drawings and tweaking designs. My contractor performed the cabinet install and the counter tops were installed by your vendor [Creative In Counters].” – customer
Along with Meg, the customer selected Brighton Cabinetry with a Maple Landmark finish for both the kitchen and master bath. The countertops for both are LG Viatera Aria quartz. The kitchen offers many different functional storage areas and the bath features a vanity with a custom door front which masquerades as three separate drawers, but in reality is just one cabinet. The cabinetry extends above the tub area with more storage and stylish glass fronts.
“My space is amazing, it exceeded my expectations. Every individual who comes to the house is overwhelmed by the space and amazed so much was accomplished without a professional interior designer. I am looking forward to my annual Thanksgiving feast and I am sure my guests will be too.” – customer
