Years ago, the Burnham family had their kitchen cabinets resurfaced. After years of ware and tear, it was time to update to something newer.
“We had our kitchen cabinets resurfaced years ago but they were the original cabinets in the house…so over 30 years old! Once before we had thought of remodeling, went to Home Depot to talk to someone and the process seemed so overwhelming that we agreed we’d wait until it was an absolute necessity to do the remodel…but we reached that point and we’re glad we went to Cabinet Discounters.” – Mrs. Burnham
The Burnhams found that the Cabinet Discounters Springfield showroom was closest to their home, so they decided to stop in and see what was offered.
“We chose Cabinet Discounters as they presented themselves as a full package deal; they would deal with the electrician, the carpenter and the plumber. They set up a specific schedule and all workmen always stayed on schedule. The work was professional and we are very happy with our choice.” – Mrs. Burnham
Working with designer Lois Elliott and the Cabinet Discounters installation department, the Burnhams quickly discovered that no detail went unmentioned during their remodel.
“All the people at Cabinet Discounters were so helpful. Lois, our salesperson in the Springfield office, was fantastic. She showed us all the different options we had, told us the benefits of each type of cabinet (i.e. lazy susan vs. no lazy susan, options for cabinet sizes, etc.) and went over each item in length so we fully understood what we were getting and how long it would take to install. In addition, all the workmen that came to the house were friendly and most important, professional. They made sure that everything met all required standards and each day left a clean kitchen when they left.” – Mrs. Burnham
With Lois’ assistance, the Burnhams selected Brighton Cabinetry with a Maple Butterscotch finish and Shaker door style. The countertops are Cambria Williston quartz. The custom Brighton cabinets allow the Burnhams to have multiple different creative storage options, including two rotating Lazy Susan cabinets both on ground level and suspended cabinetry, and a built-in silverware organizer.
“We are thrilled with the outcome. I keep raving about how wonderful the kitchen turned out; the quality of the cabinets, the professional job that all the workmen did, my drawer insert which I had made for silverware, etc. Can’t say enough how happy we were with our experience. We had soffits removed so we now have taller cabinets and a lot more space for storage. We have been able to bring things up that we stored in our basement but now have room for in the kitchen. It’s made a huge difference.” – Mrs. Burnham
The Burnhams were overjoyed with the entire process from start to finish during their kitchen remodel.
“Cabinet Discounters told us exactly what to expect in terms of workmen and a time table. In addition, they have an online system [Base Camp] where you can track all the work being scheduled on your kitchen. If you have any questions there is always a quick response so I would give them 5 stars on customer service…in addition to quality of the product. Having a new kitchen put in is not pleasant, but Cabinet Discounters took all the worry out of the process and delivered a fantastic product.” – Mrs. Burnham
