Is your kitchen stuck in the last century? Are you having to deal every single day with a kitchen that was put together decades ago and is now starting to come apart? Have you hit the point where you just can’t handle it anymore? You are not alone! A local family found themselves in a similar position, and they were ready to do something about it.
“We decided to remodel our kitchen because it had become dated and we wanted to better utilize the space. Our goal was to modernize the look of the kitchen while increasing both countertop and cabinet space.”
Using the advice of their general contractor, the customers decided to use Cabinet Discounters for the cabinets, countertops, and design for their new space.
“We chose Cabinet Discounters because it was recommended by our Installer/Contractor.”
The family visited our Springfield showroom and met with designer Jenny Suarez. Jenny was able to come up with a plan that worked specifically for this space. From the design to the delivery, quality, and even the budget, the family was overjoyed with their experience.
“We found working with Cabinet Discounters a great experience. Jenny, our designer, was the best. She sat down with us, listened to our ideas and goals and promptly turned them into a fabulous design. I think the collaborative effort really helped seal the deal and put us at ease that we were working with the right folks. What is most impressive is that she found a way to translate what we wanted into a very workable, affordable plan that came in on budget! Thanks to Jenny and the rest of the team, we met all of our goals and the results exceeded our expectations. The cabinets were delivered on time in perfect condition, despite pandemic issues. In fact, our contractor was able to beat the scheduled completion date because everything, including the counter tops, was delivered as required in perfect condition.”
Working along with Jenny, the customers selected Homecrest Cabinetry with Sedona Maple door style and Alpine Opaque color. The countertops they selected are LG Viatera Minuet quartz countertops.
“To say we are happy with the outcome would be an understatement. The space not only looks great, the design is completely functional. Believe me when you have two adult sons, who are chefs by trade, who envy your new kitchen and love creating in the space, you know you have hit the nail on the head.”
After completion, the customers were so excited that they simply wanted to sit back and marvel at how great everything looked. They’re so pleased with the outcome and love everything about their new kitchen.
“Funny you should ask this question. When completed, we really wanted to rope the room off and just display it. Sort of like the formal living room when you were a kid that no one got to use. It really does look that good! However, I don’t think it can be stated enough. The thought that went into the layout, most credit to Jenny, makes the space very functional. Some of the changes proposed we would have never thought of ourselves. But the design really does make very good sense if your intent is to have a working kitchen. That is just what the space is now, a beautiful working kitchen that the whole family enjoys everyday!”
