Having an older kitchen, the family set out to being on their kitchen remodel journey. They wanted to work with a local company, so they decided to visit the Cabinet Discounters showroom closest to their home in Mt. Airy. Once inside, they met with designer Brian Dailey and they were overjoyed with their experience.

Brian was able to come up with a plan for their kitchen and make their dreams a reality. Working along with Brian, the family selected Brighton Cabinetry. The perimeter cabinetry has a Shaker Medium door style and Maple Antiquity finish. The island cabinets have Cottage doors and Maple Oatmeal finish. The perimeter countertops are Cambria Ironsbridge quartz and the island tops are Cambria Crowndale quartz. The backsplash tile is Calpe Ivory 3″ x 12″ ceramic tiles.

The new kitchen has not only provided the family with a brand new space for cooking and entertaining, but also gives them a new area with lots of storage. With the shelving for cookbooks on the end of the island, to the large pantry with beautiful stained glass accent windows surrounding the refrigerator, to the desk area off to the side with room for the family computer, this kitchen has a little bit of something for everyone!
